About 200 tents line a street in Little Italy every Saturday for the popular Little Italy Mercado.  This huge farmer's market is the thing to do for locals, whether it's to pick up the week's produce,  "window shop" the vendor wares, or just do some people watching.  You can even grab your brunch item from one of the prepared food vendors, like tamales, crepes, and a fresh cup of coffee or smoothie.  And there's usually a musician to serenade the crowd while they wander.

The extra cadre of people also bring some of the local restaurants alive too, especially those that have outside seating.

Parking is a little tougher in Little Italy on Farmer's Market days.  But that issue is moot for those who live in a condo at Little Italy.  Here are a few of our favorites within walking distance:

Savina - You'll not only be a few blocks from the Farmer's Market at Savina, but you'll also be close to the Ocean as well.  Built in 2019, this ultra modern highrise has a rooftop playground will pool, spa, and lounging areas.

Doma - The Farmer's Market is just out your front door at Doma, a collection of condos and townhomes.  Retail is on the first floor of the condo buildings, and you'll have so many other amenities in the neighborhood as well.

Porto d'Italia is a three-story condo building on Columbia, a few blocks from the Farmer's Market.  Condos here are a bit more affordable.  Enjoy the view from the building's rooftop patio.
