If you've been visiting our website a while, you might have noticed that downtown San diego condo buildings are plentiful.  Our vibrant downtown has attracted many people that want to live there, unlike our urban sprawl neighbors to the north.

Downtown San Diego is the financial, cultural, and business district of the city and it is truly where the  (non-beach) action is.  The Downtown area has distinctive neighborhoods with their own charm and character.   Even though Downtown San Diego is quite small area, Little Italy has such a completely different feel than the East Village or the Gaslamp area.   So when we're asked which condo building is the best, we respond with "what neighborhood do you like?"

Here are a few of the high rise condo communities that we like in different areas of downtown San Diego.

Bayside condos is a great choice for buyers wanting the upfront water view.   It is considered one of the most sought-after properties in all of Downtown San Diego today, because of the spectacular panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean that residents can enjoy from the West facing units of the building.

This luxurious condominium tower in the Columbia District stands 36-stories tall and is home to 232 luxurious flats and townhouses. Spacious balconies here are perfect for taking in the stunning views.  The common area amenities of the Bayside condos downtown San Diego include an entertainment lounge with a movie theatre, a private wine tasting lounge, a state-of-the-art fitness center with gym quality workout options, a steam room and sauna, a professional business conference meeting room, a resort-style pool that resembles a high end Mediterranean getaway, an outdoor grilling area and a 24-hour front desk staff.

Pinnacle Condos in the Marina District  gets you closer to the Gaslamp Quarter but still with great views of the water.   Residents enjoy a  centralized and highly walkable location, close to all the dining, shopping and entertainment avenues of Horton Plaza, the Gaslamp Quarter, Seaport Village, the Ballpark District and Harbor Drive. The Marina District has always been considered the most desired locations in Downtown San Deigo. Some of the highest value properties call the Marina home, thanks to the truly amazing views from this part of the waterfront.

The one, two, and three-bedroom floor plans span 780 to 3,700 square feet with terrace-sized balconies to soak up the amazing views.  Some of the amenities that homeowners can enjoy are a club room with a large screen cinema, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a sauna, spa, and steam room, a private guest suite, a lap pool, underground parking, full-time concierge service, and six elevators.

Icon condos have the ultimate location for baseball fans - right next to PETCO park. The skybox viewing terrace overlooking PETCO Park will sell some buyers before they even look at the individual condo units.  The complex, located in the heart of The East Village, comprises 4 buildings – a 24-story, 11-story, 9-story and 5-story and offers residents the perfect blend of an intimate location and a proximity to the vibrancy of Downtown San Diego’s bars, eateries and nightclubs. The East Village is also home to the new Thomas Jefferson School of Law and the SD Library, which adds a whole new dynamic to the neighborhood.

With its waterfall features and inner courtyard featuring a 60-foot tall sculpture created by artist Ned Kahn, Icon is one of the most distinctive condominium buildings in the area
Residents can also enjoy a fitness center, an in-house home theater, concierge services, and 24-hour security.
